TENUTA CA' SCIAMPAGNE
Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne owes its name to the cadastral locality where most of the vineyards are planted.
Location
It is located in the immediate outskirts of Urbino, immersed in the Natural Park of Monti delle Cesane, just 3 km from the Renaissance city that gave birth to the painter Raphael and was home of Duke Federico da Montefeltro.
The Winery
The winery was founded in 2008 with the recovery of more than three hectares of old vines and the planting of another five.
The company is in certified biological regime and does not use chemicals or herbicides except for rare treatments with very low doses of copper and sulphur in the vineyard and in case of extreme need of potassium metabisulfite in the cellar.
Coltivation and Terroir
Those who taste our wines do not drink a wine but a territory, the Montefeltro, land of the Renaissance, land of history and traditions.
Local Tradition
Searching in the local and peasant tradition what we do not find today in which no adjuvant is added, the fermentations are spontaneous with indigenous yeasts, no clarification, no filtration, manual bottling.
TASTING ADN EVENTS
Ours is a cellar to visit and live. The welcome is warm and sincere.
The tastings, preferably by reservation, for individuals or groups, can take place in vinsantaia between the scents of barrels and pastis, outdoors in the meadows or in the tasting room. It is possible to organize events with live music and catering such as graduations, birthdays, baptisms, communions.
The winery has a point of sale to buy its own wines and pack gift or Christmas packages.
